Opened in the Summer of 2024, Ram & Rooster is Chef Yan’s first foray into New Jersey’s restaurant scene. Ram & Rooster, whose namesake honors Chef Yan’s parents’ heritage, blends New American cuisine with traditional Chinese ingredients and techniques.

Having grown up in New Jersey, Yan has closely attuned himself to the local restaurant scene. Yan has worked in acclaimed kitchens such as Mistral, Heirloom Kitchen, and Lita.
In the Spring of 2024, Yan opened Ram & Rooster, his first restaurant project. With support from his family and peers, Yan hopes to bring an unparalleled experience to the diners of New Jersey with his Chinese inspired concept.
